I really didn't want to get a lowering line or bull rope for edger to stump grinder conversion task since there shouldn't be any potential for dynamic loads or negative rigging.

The bull rope gets it's color due to a urethane coating that is applied to the outside jacket of the rope. This gives it great wear resistance in.
Apr 19, I’ve gotten to the point I ideally prefer to have the 15K bull rope tied to the base of a substantial tree, pulled snug, and have the 9K rope tied to the middle of the 15K pulling perpendicular. A little tug on the 9K with the tractor provides a lot easier persuasion than a felling wedge and sledge hammer and I like the distance better than.
